Indian cardamom 40g

Green cardamom from India, still in the pod. A spice that’s a staple of oriental cuisine but has also been cherished worldwide for centuries. In Germany, cardamom is traditionally used in speculaas, gingerbread, and sausages.
The pods are gently cracked with a pestle, revealing the oily black seeds. After removing the husk, the seeds can be finely ground in a mortar.
Cardamom pairs perfectly with mulled wine, rice, and chicken dishes.
